According to Counterpoint's monthly mobile phone sales report, China's smartphone sales fell 3.2% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2024, making it the only quarter in 2024 to experience a year-on-year decline. In the fourth quarter, Huawei ranked first in market share, followed by Xiaomi and Apple. Faced with fierce competition from Huawei and other Chinese mobile phone brand manufacturers' expansion in the high-end market, Apple ranked third in the fourth quarter of 2024 with a market share of 17.1%. From a full-year perspective, China's smartphone sales increased by 1.5% year-on-year, a rebound from the year-on-year decline of 1.4% in 2023. Vivo ranked first with a market share of 17.8%, followed by Huawei with 16.3%, and Xiaomi ranked third with a market share of 15.7%.
