TikTok issued a statement on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit's rejection of the temporary restraining order TikTok had previously applied for. The statement reads as follows: "As previously stated, we plan to submit this case to the Supreme Court, which has a long tradition of protecting the right of Americans to freedom of speech. If the ban on TikTok is not stopped, by January 19, 2025, more than 170 million Americans who use TikTok in the United States and abroad will lose the opportunity to speak out."
