AR glasses jointly developed by Shanghai technology companies and Google debut in the United States

On May 21, 2025, Beijing time, at the 2025 Google I/O Global Developer Conference in California, the AR (augmented reality) glasses Project Aura jointly developed by Google and Chinese technology company XREAL were unveiled. This product not only carries the technical vision of spatial computing for the "next decade", but also represents a Chinese company rooted in Pudong, Shanghai, for the first time as a bottom-level ecological partner, deeply involved in the joint definition and technological evolution of the global XR (extended reality) operating system and terminal ecology.
