AI chip startup Tenstorrent receives $700 million investment, Bezos joins

According to the Securities Times, AI chip startup Tenstorrent received $700 million in investment, with a valuation of $2.6 billion, aiming to challenge Nvidia's leadership in the AI chip market. The company plans to develop affordable GPU alternatives, using open source technology and common components to avoid high-cost components to improve cost efficiency. Tenstorrent is led by "Silicon Valley chip legend" Jim Keller, who has held important positions in companies such as Apple, Tesla and AMD, and is committed to developing AI chips that break Nvidia's monopoly. Bezos' investment company Bezos Expeditions, LG Electronics and Fidelity participated in the investment, and are optimistic about the development of AI technology.
