At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed up 1.13%, and the Tech Index closed up 1.8%. Chip stocks led the gains, and auto stocks rebounded. Hua Hong Semiconductor (01347.HK) rose 14%, and BYD Co., Ltd. (01211.HK) rose more than 7%.
