National Business Wire (Dec 20) -- Germany's Volkswagen Group will adopt Tesla's North American Charging Standard (NACS) from 2025.

Audi, Porsche and Scout Motors, owned by Volkswagen AG, announced on Tuesday that, along with the Volkswagen brand, their future new vehicles will adopt the North American Charging Standard (NACS) from 2025.

According to the statement, Volkswagen, Porsche and Audi are working on adapter solutions for existing vehicles to use Tesla's Supercharger network starting in 2025.

In contrast, Scout Motors customers will be able to access the Supercharging network after purchasing a vehicle.
