Intensifying efforts to give back to investors, the number of companies disclosing interim dividends on the Shanghai Stock Exchange increased by 354% year-on-year

The latest data disclosed by the Shanghai Stock Exchange shows that the enthusiasm of Shanghai-listed companies for mid-year and quarterly dividends has increased significantly this year. According to statistics, as of now, there are 481 companies in the Shanghai Stock Exchange that have disclosed mid-term dividends in 2024, an increase of 354% year-on-year, and the amount of dividends reached 574.9 billion yuan, an increase of 184% year-on-year. Some companies have paid dividends twice or even three times this year. Among them, Linglong Tire disclosed dividend plans in the first quarter, mid-term, and third quarter reports this year, with cash dividends per share of 0.091 yuan, 0.1 yuan, and 0.162 yuan, respectively. In addition, Shanghai-listed companies such as Kweichow Moutai, China Nuclear Power, Will Group, China Power, and Anjing Foods have all launched dividends twice this year.

Welltech announced that the Ningbo Yu Renrong Education Foundation donated 600,000 shares of the company's unrestricted tradable shares to the Ningbo Oriental Polytechnic University Education Foundation free of charge, accounting for approximately 0.05% of the company's current total share capital. Before the donation, the Yu Renrong Education Foundation held 7.2904 million shares, accounting for 0.60% of the company's total share capital; after the donation, the number of shares held was 6.6904 million shares, accounting for 0.55% of the company's total share capital. The Oriental Polytechnic Foundation holds 50 million shares, accounting for 4.11% of the company's total share capital; after the donation, the number of shares held was 50.6 million shares, accounting for 4.16% of the company's total share capital. The implementation of this share donation plan will not lead to changes in the company's control, and will not affect the company's governance structure, equity structure and continued operations.
