Foxconn acquires Macronix's six-inch wafer fab and equipment for NT$2.52 billion

According to Taiwan Economic Daily News, Macronix International and Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) held a signing ceremony today.Macronix sold its six-inch wafer fab and equipment located in Hsinchu Science Park to Foxconn for NT$2.52 billion, and the transfer of ownership is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
