Asia Tech Wire (Aug 19) -- China has 10.604 million charging piles, according to Chinese state-owned broadcaster CCTV.
With the rapid development of the new energy vehicle market this year, charging piles, as an important new type of infrastructure, have seen accelerating layouts and expansion in various parts of China.
The latest data shows that as of July 2024, the number of charging piles in China reached 10.604 million units, a year-on-year increase of 53%. Among them, high-power charging is becoming a new highlight of China's charging pile industry.
