Asia Tech Wire (June 12) -- German optical instrument maker ZEISS is about to inaugurate a more than $9 million innovation center in Taiwan.
ZEISS announced Wednesday that its first Taiwan Innovation Center, located in the Hsinchu Science Park, at a cost of more than NT$300 million (US$9 million), will be inaugurated on June 18th.
The center will initially introduce cutting-edge semiconductor inspection and analysis solutions for electronics, optics, and 3D X-ray microscopes, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and exclusive correlation technologies to enhance inspection quality and improve production efficiency and yields.
The innovation center ZEISS is building in Taiwan is its first such facility in the region.
The completion of the center will likely provide advanced technical support and solutions for the semiconductor industry in Taiwan, further promoting the development of the industry.
