Asian Tech Press -- YouTube has signed a definitive agreement to acquire simsim, an Indian video-based e-commerce platform, Google India announced Tuesday in a blogpost.

The announcement did not disclose any details of the acquisition, and it is not clear how much the deal is.

It is worth noting that the offer satisfied both parties. In a joint statement, simsim cofounders said, "We can’t wait to be part of YouTube and are excited to build simsim within the most admired tech company in the world.”
