Asia Tech Wire (May 17) -- Chinese electric car maker Xpeng Inc. will launch its two models, the G6 and X9, in Hong Kong.

Xpeng said Friday that the G6 electric SUV and the X9 seven-seater car will both arrive in Hong Kong later this year.

Specifically, the G6 will start at an intended "one-for-one" price of HK$299,900, while the X9 will be priced within HK$500,000 before tax.

Xpeng says they will feature a next-generation voice control system that recognizes Cantonese.
