Asia Tech Wire (June 14) -- Linda Yaccarino, chief executive of Elon Musk-owned social media platform X (formerly Twitter), said 65% of advertisers have returned, according to the New York Times.
Yaccarino told employees at all-hands meetings this week that 65% of advertisers have returned to the platform since January of this year, the report said.
During the meetings, X executives said smaller companies are now the bulk of its revenue.
Three people who attended the meetings revealed that X executives did not provide updated sales figures.
However, the three people familiar with the matter noted that the return of advertisers does not necessarily reflect an increase in revenue.
