Volkswagen aims to be the leader in the global EV market by 2025

The Volkswagen Group plans to deliver 1 million electric vehicles for this year, aiming to become the leader in the global electric vehicle market by 2025, according to the Group news of March 16.

The Group will introduce a unified cell since 2023, and then install such a cell in around 80% of all the Group’s electric vehicles by 2030.To m

eet demands for battery cells, Volkswagen and its partners plan to build 6 cell factories in Europe by 2030.
