Asia Tech Wire (June 5) -- UK data provider Preqin is looking at a sale, according to the Financial Times.

The report cited people familiar with the matter as saying that the possible sale could value the company at more than 1 billion pounds.

Goldman Sachs has provided advisory services to the business and marketed it to interested parties, the people added.

S&P Global and BlackRock are both considering acquiring Preqin, some people familiar with the matter said.
