Toyota's global sales up 45% YoY in May

Toyota released its production, sales, and export data (including Toyota and Lexus) for May, with global output up 83 percent year-over-year to 671,000 units.

Due to last year's plant shutdown caused by the epidemic, this year's year-over-year production growth was up significantly due to a low base. However, it did not reach the level of May 2019 (802,000 units) pre-epidemic.
