Toyota to launch a new all-electric sedan in China next year

Asian Tech Press (Dec 03) -- According to media reports, Toyota will launch a small and reasonably priced all-electric sedan in China later next year.

The all-electric sedan, built by Toyota in partnership with BYD, is an affordable and spacious electric car that will be slightly larger than the Toyota Corolla and will be powered by BYD's lithium iron phosphate blade battery for less than 200,000 yuan ($30,000) and is expected to be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show next April.
