As the production capacity has increased, Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory has started to export its electric vehicles since last year.

The first batch of 7,000 units of Model 3 exported to the European market was shipped to Europe on October 27 last year and arrived in two batches at the end of November and early December.

In January this year, it was also reported that Tesla was ready to export its Model 3 produced by the Shanghai Gigafactory to Japan, New Zealand, and Australia.

In May, Tesla Shanghai Super Factory exported 11,527 units, a noticeable decline comparing with the 14,000 units shipped in April.
