Analysts estimate that electric car maker Tesla may deliver about 200,000 vehicles in the second quarter of this year, up 100 percent year-over-year, due to increased demand.
Tesla's growing car sales and the start of Model S Plaid deliveries are prompting investors to expect the company to deliver a total of about 200,000 vehicles in the second quarter. This would be another quarterly record even if Tesla only meets the general market expectation of about 200,000 quarterly deliveries.
