Tesla is launching 'Tesla Energy' in China, including Powerwall and solar

Tesla announced on Monday that it will launch its energy division "Tesla Energy" in China, which will sell solar rooftop systems and Powerwall home battery packs for the Chinese market.

A statement on Tesla China's official website shows that Tesla energy will soon be officially introduced to China. The Tesla China Energy Storage and Charging Integration Project will be launched on June 23, 2021.

The company also posted three promotional images on the official website: Tesla Supercharger, Powerwall, and solar panels.

The product launch will be held in Lhasa, Tibet.
