Tesla apologizes for brake failure in China

American-based car maker Tesla announced on China's Twitter-like Weibo on April 20, saying that it apologizes for failing to resolve the customers' brake failure promptly.

The car manufacturer declared that it respects and firmly follows the decisions of all relevant departments of the Chinese government, respects consumers, complies with Chinese laws and regulations, and firmly and actively cooperates with all investigations by all relevant Chinese government departments.

Tesla said that to solve the relevant problems, the company has set up a new "Special Handling Team", specializing in the matter, and strives to meet the customers' demands with all its efforts in compliance with the law, and to satisfy the customers.
