Tesla China Car Orders Down Nearly 50% in May Compared to April

Data shows that Tesla's car orders in China fell by nearly half in May compared with April. The company's monthly net orders in China fell to about 9,800 in May from over 18,000 in April.

Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the China Passenger Vehicle Market Information Association, said Tesla sold 35,478 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles in China in March, compared with 11,671 in April.
