Temu sees most new app downloads in South Korea for September

Asia Tech Wire (Oct 16) -- Temu, a cross-border e-commerce platform owned by Chinese e-commerce giant Pinduoduo, saw the most new app downloads in South Korea for September.

Temu ranked No. 1 in South Korea with 868,412 new app downloads in September, according to big data analytics platform Mobile Index on Wednesday.

The data also showed that Meta Platforms' Instagram ranked second with 760,094 and ByteDance's TikTok Lite ranked third with 707,307 during the month.

In South Korea, Temu topped the list of new app downloads for two consecutive months in June and July, before falling to third place in August.
