Sungrow to build Bangladesh's largest photovoltaic plant

Asian Tech Press (Dec 23) -- China's Sungrow has signed a PV inverter contract with Rays Power Infra to build Bangladesh's largest 280MW solar power plant.

The power plant will be grid-connected in April 2022, generating 395GWh of clean electricity annually, offsetting 13.825 billion tons of CO2, supplying power to more than 200,000 households, and providing more than 1,200 jobs for Bangladeshis.

Sungrow is a pioneer in solar inverter research and development, with a diverse product portfolio that includes PV inverter and energy storage systems for utility-scale, commercial, and residential applications, as well as internationally known floating PV plant solutions.
