Standard Chartered, Wise partner on cross-border remittance services in Asia, Middle East

Asia Tech Wire (Nov 5) -- Standard Chartered will use Wise's payment platform to offer easier multi-currency remittance services in Asia and the Middle East.

Steve Naudé, managing director of Wise Platform, said Standard Chartered will access Wise's foreign exchange infrastructure to offer remittance services in 21 currencies in the coming months.

Standard Chartered already has a partnership with Wise through its digital bank Mox in Hong Kong, with the partnership agreement struck earlier this year.
