SoftBank accelerates its investments, averaging one company per day

According to Nikkei, Japan's SoftBank Group (SBG) is accelerating its investments through its SoftBank Vision Fund. 129 companies were invested in Vision Fund 2 as of June 18, increasing 34 companies from about a month ago. That's an average of about one new investment per day.

The information was revealed in the business strategy presentation materials disclosed by SoftBank at its regular shareholders' meeting on June 23. It has mainly been confirmed that the number of companies that have completed investments exceeds that of Vision Fund 1 (92), established in 2017. As of June 18, 85 investments have been completed by Vision Fund 2, and 44 have been approved by the Investment Committee.
