Sensor Tower: Chinese game publishers earn $1.91 billion in October

Asian Tech Press (Nov 9) -- Chinese game publishers collectively made $1.91 billion in revenue in October, according to Sensor Tower's Store Intelligence platform.

A total of 37 Chinese vendors made them to the list of the Top 100 Mobile Game Publishers by Worldwide Revenue for October 2023, drawing a combined $1.91 billion, accounting for 38.7% of the global Top 100 mobile game publishers' revenue for the period, Sensor Tower said in a report on Thursday.

Among them, Tencent Holdings Ltd., NetEase Inc and miHoYo Co. Ltd. were the top three Chinese game publishers.

With the 1.4 version update of "Honkai: Star Rail" and the launch of the second half of the card pool in "Genshin Impact" Version 4.1, miHoYo's revenue from mobile terminals in October improved by 10% YoY.
