Asian Tech Press (Jan 18) -- According to media reports, Samsung Electronics will launch TVs with LG Display OLED panels as soon as June.

After a leadership restructuring at the end of 2021, Samsung Electronics has decided to re-evaluate the supply contract they signed with LG Display, and Samsung's top decision-making department, at the end of the year, decided to continue to purchase OLED panels for TVs from LG Display.

The news of Samsung Electronics purchasing OLED panels for TVs from LG Display had emerged in early April last year, when several Korean media reports said that executives from Samsung Electronics were negotiating with LG Display about purchasing OLED panels for TVs, which would be purchased in millions. But in the following week, there were reports that Samsung Electronics executives, denying that they have purchased millions of TV OLED panels from LG Display, the news of the purchase is just a rumor.
