Samsung QD-OLED panels on track for mass production in November

According to media reports, System LSI Business of Samsung Electronics has started developing T-CON ( Timing Controller) for Quantum Dot (QD)-OLED panels for Samsung Display.

Samsung Display plans to send samples of QD-OLED panels for TVs and monitors to potential clients this month. After the samples pass the clients' reliability tests, Samsung Display will conduct a market evaluation of the QD-OLED panels in September. If the results are favorable, the company will begin production of this panel in November. (Jiemian Global)
