Asia Tech Wire (July 29) -- Samsung Electronics and its largest labor union restarted salary negotiations for 3 days on Monday afternoon.

The National Samsung Electronics Union proposed a three-day negotiation on the condition that the employer comes up with a proposal that is acceptable to it.

Samsung Electronics, on the other hand, said that it is actually difficult to accept the union's demands, but it will still maintain its stance of active dialog.

Representatives of the union and Samsung Electronics held eight hours of negotiations on July 23, but failed to narrow the gap between their views.
