SA: Apple's 5G iPhone shipments down 23% YoY in Q1

According to Strategy Analytics research, in Q1 2021, Samsung 5G smartphone shipments grew 79% YoY to 17 million units, making it the fastest-growing 5G smartphone vendor in the world.

Vivo became the second fastest-growing 5G smartphone vendor in the quarter, with 62% YoY growth and 19 million units shipped.

Meanwhile, Apple's 5G iPhone shipments declined 23% YoY in the quarter after experiencing a new generation 5G iPhone boom in Q4 2020.
