Asian Tech Press (Mar. 3) -- South Korea's Kia Corp said Thursday the company will launch 14 all-electric cars by 2027, and sell 1.2 million electric vehicles (EVs) worldwide in 2030.
The country's second-largest automaker presented its key business targets for 2030 at the company's 2022 CEO Investor Day.
Kia said it aims to achieve annual sales of 1.2 million battery electric vehicle (BEV) units by 2030, and build a full line-up of 14 BEVs by 2027.
The company also targets to become the number one brand in the global purpose-built vehicle (PBV) market by 2030.
