S. Korean trade representative to visit U.S. for supply chain discussions

Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo

Asian Tech Press (SEP 13) -- According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korean Trade Minister Yeo Han-koo will visit Washington, D.C., from Sep 13 to 17 to discuss supply chain, technology, vaccines, digitalization, and climate change with U.S. government officials.

During the visit, Yeo Han-koo will first meet with United States Trade Representative Katherine Tai. Yeo will join Korean parliamentarians, including Lee Hackyoung, Chairman of the Committee on Small and Medium-Sized Ventures of the National Assembly of Korea, to meet with U.S. Senators and Representatives. The two sides will discuss joint efforts to restore the supply chain of critical industries such as semiconductors and batteries and provide incentives for Korean companies investing in the U.S.
