According to official Philippine sources, the delivery of 15,000 doses of Russia's Sputnik V COVID-19 vaccine has been delayed and is expected to May.

The vaccines were scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. In a press briefing in Cebu City Thursday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said the delay was due to fewer direct flights from Russia to the Philippines, as well as the vaccine's cold storage need.
