PUBG developer Krafton invests $5 million in Indian dating app FRND

Asian Tech Press (Dec 20) -- South Korean game developer Krafton Inc said on Monday it has invested $5 million in the Indian dating app FRND.

The firm behind blockbuster video game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" (PUBG) was one of the investors in the Indian startup's $6.5 million Series A financing round, along with other investors such as India Quotient and Elevation Capital, Yonhap News Agency reported.

FRND is a dating app that allows users to connect with each other through one-on-one voice chat while playing games.
