Omdia: iPhone 15 Pro Max becomes world's best-selling smartphone in H1

Asia Tech Wire (Sep 23) -- Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max was the world's best-selling smartphone in the first half of 2024, with total shipments of 21.8 million units, according to a report released by market research firm Omdia.

This is the second consecutive year that the iPhone Pro Max series has won the title, after the iPhone 14 Pro Max became the best-selling smartphone in 2023.

So far, the standard iPhone 15 has shipped 17.8 million units behind the 15 Pro Max, while the iPhone 15 Pro is in fourth place with 16.9 million units.
