A South Korean video game publisher Nexon announced on Wednesday that it made a $100 million purchase of Bitcoin, joining the ranks of major technology companies such as Tesla in allocating cryptocurrency.
The firm stated that it had purchased 1,717 bitcoins at a total cost of $100 million and an average of $58,226.
The investment is currently worth about $95 million at bitcoin's current value. Nexon indicated that the allocation is equivalent to only 2% of Nexon's total cash and cash -equivalents as of December 2020.
