Musk-owned X said to close San Francisco office

Asia Tech Wire (Aug 6) -- X, the social media company owned by Tesla CEO Elon Musk, plans to close its San Francisco office in the coming weeks, according to the New York Times.

Citing an email sent to employees on Monday by X's chief executive, Linda Yaccarino, the report said that its employees will move to its current office in San Jose, California.

X will also open an engineering office in Palo Alto, California, which it will share with Musk's artificial intelligence company xAI, according to the email.
