Mitsubishi Electric suspends production of home refrigerators

Asian Tech Press (OCT 13) -- Mitsubishi Electric Group said the company's plant in Shizuoka City, Japan, stopped the production of household refrigerators. The company's sources said this was mainly due to the suspension of production at a plant of a partner company in Southeast Asia, where the Covid-19 epidemic is raging, leading to interruptions in the supply of components.
