Ming-Chi Kuo: MediaTek is a key supplier for Apple's TWS strategy

TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo released the latest research report that Apple recently launched the new TWS Beats Studio Buds using MediaTek's 22nm TWS chip instead of its own 16nm H1 chip. Clearly positioning Android device users as its target customers, which will help Apple increase its TWS market share.

Meanwhile, this move will reduce MediaTek's reliance on 5G chips, and MediaTek is expected to ship 170-180 million or more TWS chips in 2022.
