Microsoft Corp. said that Nobelium, the hacker group responsible for the SolarWinds cyberattack, has attacked 150 different national authorities, analytical and research institutions, and non-governmental organizations in the United States and more than 20 countries worldwide. The hacking group is suspected to be from Russia.

Microsoft noted that there is no reason to believe that the attacks were caused by vulnerabilities in some of the company's products. (Sputnik)
