MediaTek reports 38% increase in Q3 net profit

Asia Tech Wire (Oct 30) -- Taiwan-based semiconductor company MediaTek Inc. released results on Wednesday, posting revenue of NT$131.81 billion for the third quarter of 2024, up 20% year-on-year.

MediaTek realized a third-quarter operating profit of NT$23.86 billion, up 33% year-on-year, versus an estimated NT$23.02 billion.

The company recorded a third-quarter net profit of NT$25.59 billion, up 38% year-on-year, beating estimates of NT$22.95 billion.
