Intel wins $1.1 billion antitrust lawsuit in EU

Asia Tech Wire (Oct 24) -- Europe's highest court, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), ruled in favor of Intel on Thursday, ending a nearly 20-year battle between the U.S. chipmaker and EU regulators.

EU regulators accused Intel of trying to block rivals.

And EU regulators initially fined Intel 1.06 billion euros ($1.14 billion), but a lower court reversed the ruling.
