(Asian Tech Press) Indonesia has approved China's Sinovac shot for ages 12 to 17, according to Indonesian media reports.

On June 27, local time, Indonesia's food and drug authority approved the COVID-19 vaccine, which is developed by China's Sinovac Biotech Ltd, for emergency use in the country's population aged 12-17.

Joko Widodo, the president of Indonesia, announced on Monday that the country will start vaccinating minors between 12 and 17 years old with the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine.
