Sonata Software announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Encore Software Services, a Silicon Valley-based IT services company that provides user experience, data insight, and real-time collaboration services to customers in the healthcare, supply chain/logistics, and ISV industries.
Founded in 1998 and headquartered in San Jose with a development center in Chennai, India, Encore Software Services has become a provider of cloud application development services, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, testing, and maintenance services.
Sonata will have an experienced leadership team in the U.S. with this acquisition, further strengthening its footprint in the country. The move also significantly enhances Sonata's Platform™-led digital transformation strategy capabilities by strengthening its Microsoft-led cloud transformation services and digital test automation services and provides access to new verticals such as healthcare and logistics, in addition to strengthening its ISV business and Microsoft-led cloud services.
