IBM to acquire Oracle services provider Accelalpha

Asia Tech Wire (Sep 10) -- IBM announced Monday that it plans to acquire Oracle services provider Accelalpha.

The acquisition will expand IBM's Oracle consulting capabilities in supply chain and logistics, finance, enterprise performance management and customer transformation.

By acquiring Accelalpha, IBM said it will be better able to help clients deploy and manage Oracle solutions, including generative artificial intelligence and cloud technologies, to gain a competitive advantage.

IBM expects the deal to close in the fourth quarter of 2024.

In addition, IBM also plans to complete the acquisition of software company HashiCorp by the end of this year.
