Hyundai's 2022 KONA Electric

Asian Tech Press -- Two South Korean automakers, Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Corp, are considering the application of high-efficiency carbon nanotube (CNT) heaters in their next-generation electric vehicles, according to THE ELEC, a Korean electronics industry media outlet.

The CNT heater uses CNT as the heating element. It has three times the heat transfer rate of a positive temperature coefficient (PTC) heater using a thermistor, and will be able to improve the driving range of electric vehicles.
