Huawei says it offers the world a second choice with HarmonyOS and openEuler

Asian Tech Press (Dec 31) -- U.S.-blacklisted Huawei Technologies Co. announced on Friday that it will build the root of the digital world's basic software with its operating systems HarmonyOS and openEuler to provide a second option for the world.

Huawei expects to achieve sales revenue of about 634 billion yuan ($99.47 billion) in 2021, said rotating chairman Guo Ping in a New Year's message to employees on Friday.

Guo said that in 2022, Huawei will focus on the core, open up the periphery, and firmly invest in strategy, maintaining long-term competitiveness.

And the company will increase investment in "HarmonyOS+openEuler" to build the root of the digital world's basic software and provide a second choice for the world, Guo said.

In addition, Huawei will increase investment in the root technology of digital energy , develop clean energy and promote the digitalization of traditional energy in a two-wheel drive.
