Genshin Impact developer sues Bilibili again over infringement

Asia Tech Wire (May 31) -- Chinese game developer miHoYo, the developer of popular video game "Genshin Impact", is suing video sharing website Bilibili (Nasdaq: BILI) again over infringement.

The Pudong District People's Court in Shanghai opened a trial on Friday to hear a dispute over copyright ownership and infringement between miHoYo and two Bilibili affiliates.

This is not the first legal battle between the two parties. Previously, miHoYo had sued Bilibili operator Shanghai Kuanyu Digital Technology Co., Ltd. over an infringement disputes.

However, miHoYo had eventually withdrawn the cases.
