General Motors to suspend two Korean plants over chip shortage

American auto manufacturer General Motors announces that it will suspend two plants in South Korea next week due to a chip shortage.

GM Korea, the Korean arm of General Motors, says that it will halt production at two plants in Incheon, 40 kilometers from Seoul, from April 19 to 23.
